Seven-0-Seven Operations Inc - A moving museum celebrating our rail heritage
Welcome to Seven-0-Seven Operations Inc. Seven-0-Seven Operations is an all-volunteer staffed non-profit group of dedicated enthusiasts that maintains, restores and operates a collection of historic locomotives and rollingstock- a moving museum of the Victorian, South Australian and New South Wales Government Railways.
There are many ways to see and experience the Seven-0-Seven Operations moving museum. For the ultimate experience board one of our sleeping cars and travel on one of our flagship weekend Slow Rail Journey tours to interesting destinations across the state. Join us on one of the many day tours that visit interesting destinations and events closer to Melbourne. Visit us at our Newport Workshops (prior arrangement required) to witness the magic that keeps our collection on the rails. Seven-0-Seven Operations is dedicated to sharing Victoria's rail heritage with Victorians across the state and as such we offer several opportunities to experience our museum to those living in the regions we visit. Travel with us on short segments Regional Victorian lines that have not seen passenger trains in a generation. Visit us as we pass through or find that perfect spot to watch the train pass.
